ABOUT TECNAM

TECNAM traces its roots back to the activities of the brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale, who developed soon after the end of WWII (1948) and have continued ever since to maintain in the field of General Aviation with the creation of original models that gained worldwide recognition under the name Partenavia.

Luigi and Giovanni Pascale were also well known for the design and manufacture of famous light aircraft such as the single-engine P64 and P66 OSCAR and the twin-engine P68 series.

Establish in March 1986, Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM now operates in three plants with more than 78.804 sq ft of area.

The Casoria facility is located adjacent to the Napoli Capodichino Airport.

The Capua facility is located adjacent to the “Oreste Salmone”Airport.

and finally the TECNAM Spain facility located in Villanueva del Gallego, Zaragoza – Spain.

The facility in Spain is a modern reinforced concrete buildings which are used for manufacturing processes, design activities and office administration. The facility includes a 4000ft runway for flight test.

Since 1992 Tecnam has produced well over 3000 aircraft. The distribution network of Tecnam aircraft can rely today on over 50 dealers in all major countries. The Company’s strategy is particularly dedicated on investing resources in research and development with the aim of continued refinement and upgrading of its products.


Tecnam’s main activities are the manufacture of structural components for commercial aviation: tailplanes for the ATR 42/72, fuselage panels for Douglas and Boeing, parts of the G222, tailplanes and moving surfaces for the SF260, helicopter components for Augusta, and other parts for the LearJet, Falcon and Dornier. and of course the design and manufacture of a full range of aircraft from the simple ultralight to the more complex Twin Engine aircraft like the P2006T.
